So, we understand: the multi-tasking, the dirty diapers, the teen angst. That's why we've built mom2momdfw.com, a place where moms can connect, share, laugh and help one another with everyday parenting challenges.
Here, you will get an abundance of news and information that is relevant to moms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as well as a network of local moms to turn to for support and advice from choosing baby names to choosing the right college. And we give you many ways to do that:

Who are we?
Maricar Estrella is in charge of content for the site. She's been a journalist for more than 16 years – all at newspapers. After graduating from Syracuse University, she took a soul-searching trip to her birthplace - the Philippines. Then, she focused on her career in exotic places like Wilmington, Delaware and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She moved to Texas and met the love of her life. When she married her husband, Jamey, she instantly became a mom of two boys - 25 and 7 - and a grandma of two girls - 4 and a newborn. All before 40. Who knew?
Heather Witherspoon is in charge of the technical side of the site. She grew up in Garland and graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (Arts Magnet) in Dallas. She has a BFA in graphic design and illustration. For the last 12 years, she's worked in the newspaper industry. Heather and her husband have two beautiful daughters Brit (2) and Emerson (5) and 2 miniature Australian shepherds Lucky and Penny. This fall, she'll be fretting about Emerson starting Kindergarten and working on potty training and getting rid of pacifiers for Brit. Cold glass of beer anyone?
