Family Day at the Park

Help us celebrate the launch of mom2momdfw.com at our first Family Day at the Park, co-sponsored with River Legacy Parks and Metroplex Baby & Kids. Here are the details:

Where: River Legacy Parks Living Science Center, 703 NW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington

When: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20

Cost: Free

Activities: Storytimes, nature walks, live animal observation, kids activities and interactive exhibits

Dallas exhibit offering some schools free gas

Fuel prices shouldn’t stop Tarrant County students from seeing the pharaoh in Dallas.

So organizers of the exhibit "King Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of Pharaohs" are offering Tarrant County-area schools a $100 gas card to help offset the cost of field trips to the Dallas Museum of Art. The exhibit opens Oct. 3.
