'Twilight'-inspired Arlington teen trio
If you're a Twihard (fan of the "Twilight" book series) living in North Texas, chances are you've heard of the Bella Cullen Project, an acoustic trio of Arlington teen girls who write and perform songs inspired by the books. They are Ally Kiger, Tori Randall (both 14) and Chandler Nash, 15 — all sophomores at Martin High School.
July was a heady month for the girls, what with the release of their self-titled CD and one of their performances being featured on none other than MTV. But it's hard to imagine them being more in demand than they are this weekend. With all of the release parties planned for Breaking Dawn, the Bella Cullen Project will be zipping all over the place in the coming days.
Where to see them live:
Saturday, August 2: 4 p.m. Grand Prairie Public Library, Main Library
Sunday, August 3: 2 p.m. Borders Books & Music, Vista Ridge Mall, Lewisville
Oct. 18: 6 p.m. Plano Central Library
