*River Legacy Nature School

River Legacy Living Science Center, 703 NW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington
Preschoolers discover the wonders of nature through drama, music, art and literature at River Legacy Nature School. This unique school for 3- and 4-year-olds provides a learning environment in which a child’s inborn sense of wonder flourishes through indoor activities at River Legacy Living Science Center and outdoor exploration in the adjacent River Legacy Parks. The school has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since 1998, and recently earned re-accreditation through 2013 under the organization’s more stringent and comprehensive guidelines. Check it out during Open House on February 9 from 6 to 8 pm. Open enrollment for the 2009-2010 school year begins February 23. Classes meet once a week for 2 1/2 hours September through May.
