Hello everyone! I am very new to this thing that everyone calls blog. Seriously, who came up with that name? I know it's an abridgment of the term web log, but I'd rather call it a "webbie" or anything else that doesn't sound like your upchucking something.
Alright, enough of that! Let me introduce myself. My name is Melissa, and I'm a stay-at-home-mom of a 5-year-old boy and a 9-month-old girl. I recently celebrated my 15th wedding anniversary and I've lived in Fort Worth the last 13 years.
I'm very excited about this site and I hope it will be a great resource for all the moms' out there. So, this is my attempt at trying something new for myself. I'm very curious to see what’s going to happen next.

I've read about women that have changed their lives and made new friends with the blog thing. It feels good to know someone else is new to this too. I am a stay at home mom to a 16 year old daughter and son 19 who is leaving for college again for his sophmore year. I've lived in the metroplex my entire life - Arlington for 25. I'm having a hard time with my kids soon to be grown and remembering when mine were your kids age!
That must be so hard. I'm having a hard enough time getting my son ready to go to Kindergarten. Good luck with everything!
