Hello! My name is Mercedes, and I'm a breastfeeding, baby-food making, scrapbooking, dieting, first-time mom to a 9-month old little girl (did I mention I'm a wife, too?). I have a full-time job working at the Star-Telegram as a sports writer, which requires some late nights and traveling. 

And now I'm a blogging mom...

 I was born and raised in Arlington, and I came back to this area after college. I thought I knew everything about the Metroplex, but then I became a mom, and I'm learning a whole new side of things!
