Product Review: Mom-to-Mom Baby Products
The Safeway chain of stores, which includes Tom Thumb, has a new baby product brand out called “Mom-to-Mom” (and no, it doesn’t have anything to do with our moms Web site, just a funny coincidence!) I tried out a few of their products:
What I liked: It smells nice, with the baby-powder scent, and it is hypoallergenic. It is very similar to another "pink" baby lotion.
What I didn’t like: The lotion is hard to squeeze out of the bottle when you get halfway down, especially once there is lotion on your hands.
Soft Wipes Unscented, $2.99 for 180 count
What I liked: Each wipe has a cloth-like feel and is quilted with ridges on it. The wipes aren’t too moist to where it’s dripping wet like some other brands.
Supreme diapers, $7.99-$8.49, depending on the size
What I liked: The diapers are soft and I didn’t have to pull out the sides around the crotch area to make sure my daughter doesn’t have a blowout -- some other diapers I’ve bought you really have to make sure the sides don’t stick together.
What I didn’t like: The tabs didn’t stay attached. I had to really make sure they were pushed down so they wouldn’t move.
Can be found at: Safeway, Randall’s and Tom Thumb stores in the DFW area
Good to know: Don’t forget that, if you have one of the rewards-like cards to the stores, most of the items are discounted.
