Project: Trick-or-treat bag

Craft a personal treat bag for Halloween festivities.

This project is appropriate for kids ages 3-8 with parent supervision. Parents will need
to prep project by cutting shapes and tape for small non adhesive pieces.

Supplies (all found at Michael's)

Quantities depend on how many designs and bags you create. We created two bags with
designs on each side.

* 2 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of black felt with adhesive back (.99 ea)
* 2 black treat bags (1.00 ea)
* 2 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of glitter orange felt (.99 ea)
* 2 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of glitter purple felt (.99 ea)
* 1 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of purple felt with adhesive back (.99 ea)
* 1 pink puff ball or felt shape for Cats nose
* 2 rolls of Super Glue double sided foam mount tape. (1.99ea)
* 1 pack of feather boa (1.99)
* 2 packs of adhesive jewels (1.00 ea)
* 4 pipe cleaners any color (I happened to have green in my craft box)

What I learned (*Read this before buying supplies*)

After completing this project I suggest using all adhesive backed felt. Especially if you are doing this with small children (2-6). We used regular felt with glitter. I had to cut the double sided tape to get shapes to stick. This

is a bit tedious, but it will need to be done for some items.

Glue is pictured but I found out that it did not work well with the felt, pipe cleaners,
or google eyes. Use double stick tape for these items. Use foam tape when attaching
the feather boa for a glue free project.

Cut all designs before applying to bag especially when working with small kids. Remember
be creative, feel free to change designs and shapes.
