Will be new to Ft. Worth area first of the year and need some advice.
Hi everyone, I am about to be new to the area of DFW! My husband has already moved there but my daughter and I aren't moving until the first of the year. My first trip to see the city will be over Thanksgiving. Since we aren't able to sell our home right now, just can't get what we need to pay off the mortgage, we are looking at renting. I have no idea where to even look. Does anyone have any advice on a nice, safe city to raise a 14 month old? We will look to buy a house once our sells, but until this is our only option. It isn't going to be easy living with 2 sets of bills, mortgages. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, also any suggestions on Daycares? Pediatricians?

My family just relocated here 5 months ago. We live in Burleson well we border Burleson and Fort Worth. We love the area, the schools, the people. My friend Amy is a realtor in the area (DFW) and maybe able to help you find a nice rental. She is amazing and very helpful.
Her number is 972-352-7436
Feel free to email me if I can help.

I saw that someone else reccomended Saginaw and I just wanted to say as a Saginaw resident it is a great place to live and work and raise a family. It is definitely worth checking out! Hope you are looking forward to your move! : )
There are so many nice places around FW, depending on how far from the city you're willing to go. Arlington, Saginaw, Mansfield, North Richland Hills. That has been my trouble when trying to find a place to live -- narrowing it down to just one, because there are so many choices. If I were you, I'd look at a map and pinpoint the area you like best, and then look on sites like realtor.com to see what there is in that area.

If you're thinking about living in Fort Worth proper, I have always recommended Forest Park Pediatrics.
Their number is 817-336-3800 and they're located on Riverfront Drive, just off University Blvd. It's close to the Fort Worth Zoo, if you need a general idea of location.
There are six doctors: Three are related, Dr. Jeff Rogers, his wife, Dr. Audrey Rogers, and his dad, Dr. Tom Rogers. There are also Dr. Brad Mercer, Dr. Sherri Burke and Dr. Caron Murchison. 3 guys, 3 gals.
My sons are about to move on to big boy doctors, since they're in their teens.
